Prairie Gayfeather is a showy perennial with tall flower spikes. Works well when planted en masse or as an accent. It can be used in perennial borders, prairie gardens or naturalized areas. It pares well with Purple Coneflower, Rattlesnake Master or prairie grasses.
Prairie Gayfeather is one of the few species that can handle moist soil. It can also be grown in clay soil.
